STRENGTH & CONDITIONING One hour sessions consisting of various metabolic circuits that are designed to increase muscle strength, muscular endurance as well as muscle power. The workouts will include training with bands, stability balls, medicine balls, body weight exercises and some light dumbbell training. The purpose of these workouts is to build up endurance in the legs so the athletes performing them will not tire out in the middle of a game and to also build core strength from doing rotational exercises. A huge benefit of this training is the increase in rotational power which will be noticed with each swing, each pitch and even each throw across the field. Training will be done in 10 - one hour sessions with groups of four students. Sessions will be held on Tuesday and Thursday evening and Sunday afternoon. Cost of 10-one hour sessions is $200.
